Travelling from Mallorca to England – Covid-19 rules

Over the last two and a half years, we have seen frequent changes in the travel rules due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Luckily, any travel restrictions for passengers arriving from Mallorca to England were lifted in spring 2022.

Current Travel Rules for Passengers Flying from Mallorca to England

All remaining Covid restrictions for travel from Mallorca to England were removed on the 18th March 2022. This means that travellers no longer need to complete a passenger locator form and there are no requirements to test or quarantine. This applies to everyone, regardless of their vaccination status. Until recently, restrictions were still in place for passengers travelling from England to Mallorca. These measures were lifted by the Spanish government on 21/10/2022.

The Coronavirus traffic light system

This system, which initially distinguished between red, amber and green countries, is still in place. In October 2021 the rules were simplified and the new system only features a red list and “the rest of the world”. While travel to red listed countries is not recommended, no countries or areas currently fall into this category. Spain and Mallorca have never been on the red list.
