Getting to S’Arenal from Palma airport is fairly easy. Most tourists will either take a taxi, a pre-booked private transfer or hire a car but it is also possible to use public transport.
Parking in and around S’Arenal centre during the summer can be a little tricky. Therefore a taxi transfer helps avoid problems of parking and driving.
Palma airport taxis can be found in front of arrivals on the ground floor. Usually, there are taxis waiting but at busy times there is often a queue.
With Palma Airport being the third busiest in Spain, you may have to wait your turn at the car hire desk as well as at the taxi rank.
👍TIP: Start your holiday in style and pre-book a private transfer. It is undoubtedly the quickest and most convenient way to get to your resort!
Palma airport taxis are fitted with a metre but prices prices can vary depending on the company, the time of day, the season/holidays and the amount of your luggage. Therefore it’s always best to get an estimate before you start your journey.
The majority of airport taxis at Palma will only be able to take 4 passengers per taxi. So for parties of five, if there are no larger taxis available you will need a second taxi. This also applies even if one in the group is a small child or a baby. Hence two taxis will cost double.
👍TIP: Pre-booking a vehicle large enough for your party will save you money!
Taxis at Palma airport don’t usually have child safety seats on hand. Drivers may be able to borrow these from colleagues but this is not a guarantee.
If you would like to…
✔️ know the exact price of your transfer in advance
✔️ have a driver waiting for you on arrival at the airport
✔️ get to your resort as quickly as possible
✔️ travel in a luxury vehicle
…then a private transfer is for you!
