A brand-new bus terminal at Palma de Mallorca Airport has officially opened, bringing together all public bus services in one convenient location. Both the TIB interurban network (Aerotib lines) and the EMT Palma urban network started operating from the new site on Friday, the 8th of August 2025.
The new bus station is located between the arrivals building and the main car park. It is easy to spot with its sun canopies, so you won’t have any problems finding it once you have left the arrivals hall. Once outside, head for the covered walkway, which is clearly visible from all vantage points. This will take you to a set of pedestrian traffic lights where you can cross the slip road. The bus stops are right across the road on the right-hand side. Clear signage and a well-organised layout mean passengers can locate their stop without any difficulties.
The relocation has been designed to enhance comfort and streamline services. All bus stops are now grouped together in a dedicated area, and several awnings provide some shade to waiting passengers. From this single terminal, visitors can connect directly to Palma City Centre and some of Mallorca’s most popular resorts and towns, including Alcúdia, Cala Bona, Magaluf, Peguera, and many others.
Public bus travel to and from Palma Airport is becoming increasingly popular. Between April and June this year, over half a million passengers used the TIB Aerotib airport lines; a 5.7% increase on the same period last year. To keep up with this rising demand, the Balearic Government has expanded the interurban bus network, adding more services and ensuring the Aerotib routes now operate all year round, not just during the summer season. This means better frequency, more comfortable journeys, and easier access to Mallorca’s key destinations straight from the airport. Services generally operate from the early hours of the morning until midnight, with departures roughly every 45–50 minutes. To view timetables, take a look at the bus companies’ websites:
