Palma old city is about 10km / 6miles from the airport and the journey time by car or taxi takes about 20 minutes.
Arrivals to Palma airport can take a waiting taxi, this will be approximately €20-25 depending or their taxi meter.
It is also possible to take a private transfer, if prearranged, with a driver waiting with a name card in the public arrivals.
Pre-booked transfers are a lot more economic when more than 4 people are in your travel group. For example, a 1-4pax vehicle is €24 and 1-7pax vehicle is €37. So, for a family of five or six, €37 is much cheaper than two taxis for 1-4pax at €48.
