Capdepera Lighthouse, Mallorca

The Capdepera Lighthouse ( Faro de Capdepera) is located on the northeastern tip of Mallorca, approximately 3 kilometres (about 1.9 miles) from the main resort in Cala Ratjada. From there, it's a short drive or a pleasant walk along the coast and through fragrant pine forests. The lighthouse is perched on a rugged cliff offering stunning views over the Mediterranean Sea. Built in 1861, it is a vital navigational aid for ships passing through the Balearic Islands.
