There are many sunbeds to hire and watersports activities to participate in such as taking a pedalo out or riding a banana boat, jet-skiing or paragliding etc. For SCUBA diving there is a school in the adjoining resort of Palma Nova.

Magaluf promenade is separated from Palma Nova by the headland. The two resorts are however joined through the town so you would need to take a slight detour to walk the length of both promenades in one go.
The other thing Magaluf has become famous for is its nightlife. The party scene is found in an area which is known as ‘the Strip’, this is the Punta Ballena road. This road is the first road set back from the beach, running parallel with the sea. Most of the popular bars and nightclubs are in this strip.
The party scene really gets going late in the evening when revelers spill out from bars and clubs and crowd the street. There are also plenty of family entertainment places in this area but for earlier in the evenings.
